Inglis Wins Christmas '10'
Inglis Wins Christmas '10' Ian Inglis was the winner of Ards CC annual Christmas Day ten mile time trial held on the Portaferry Road.
The ever improving fifteen year old Bangor lad recorded a time of 25minutes 33 seconds which was fast in such cold conditions. Runner up was his uncle Paul Robinson with Carrowdore man Alan Rogers Northern CC third.
Andrew Hedley from Portavogie was fourth, Belfast teenager Daniel Stewart fifth and Holywood man Mark Watson sixth.
It was pleasing to see Graham McConaghy riding the time trial and recovering well from his serious accident in a mountain bile race last summer in Wales.
Brendan McCartan was slowest of the fifteen starters but was again the best fancy dress rider as Santa Claus.
