Good Turn Out For Club Run

Photo - the quality is poor but the content is class! taken at Saltwater Brig
Todays club run was very well attended with 15 riders (13 club members) enjoying a 48 mile loop on the Ards Peninsula. Most of the group stopped for a tea break in the Mace café, Ballywalter. New members Graeme Brown and John Arlow completed their first ride with the club while comeback riders James McFarlane and Alan Job mixed it with some of our youngest and fittest members like Daniel Stewart and Ian Inglis. Good to see big William Orr out on his first Sunday run too! The pace was kept at a steady comfortable level except for a few sprint for ‘30’s. This good turn out and surprisingly large numbers at last weeks club registration night show that our recent recruitment drive is paying off already! Current membership is now higher than this time last year and the hardworking committee are looking forward to a good season.
